Cheat!
This is a quick guide to the game Cheat! It's a good game to get an easy trophy from!
The Contestants You will play against three of these players at a time. Starting with the first three and then working your way along you will lose one player and gain the next one, making a total of seven rounds.
Trophies After completing Level 3, you receive a bronze trophy! After Level 5 a silver trophy and after Level 7 the gold trophy! ![]() ![]()
Game Tips 1. I cannot stress how important it is to read and thoroughly get to know the rules. They may seem a little confusing at first but you'll begin to understand (and remember them!) more as you go along! 2. Always get rid of your single cards first! Keep your doubles and triples and quadruples as long as you can. 3. Never cheat unless you have to - it's not worth having to pick up the pile when you could have played without cheating 4. When cheating try a little subtlety. Don't play 3 or 4 cards, you're much less likely to get accused of cheating if you only play 1 or 2. 5. If you have to cheat try and make it as close as possible to what you can legally play (ie. if the player in front of you plays a 3, and you don't have a 2, 3 or 4, try playing an Ace or 5 if you have one. This reduces the chance of you getting caught, but doesn't eliminate it. 6. Don't accuse your opponents of cheating unless you know for sure that they are (ie if they say they are playing four 3s and you have a 3 in your hand). 7. If one of the players was caught cheating and had to pick up a large pile, then the chances are that they will play fairly until their stack of cards starts to dwindle. 8. Many opponents cheat right at the beginning of the game! 9. Although it can be a little depressing if you've just had to pick up 25 cards, don't despair! Large amounts of cards can be disposed of quite quickly in only a few goes. It's possible to go from being miserably behind in last place to winning the round (I've done it several times myself). 10. More advanced players my consider using this tactic: If you want to get rid of cards quickly, accuse the person in front of you of cheating if they have played one card and that is the only card in the pile. This may sound a bit weird, but it can mean you get a free turn where you aren't restricted by what you can and can't play. This is particularly good if you want the card that the player has just put down. And if they were cheating you get a totally free go! |
